An app for UK driving instructors and their pupils: the instructor’s diary, pupils, lesson notes, progress and payments in one place, with Elly, the little L-plate assistant. Driving schools use the web portal for enquiries, every instructor’s diary and the money.

Learners use the same app to see their lessons and progress, what they owe, and to message their instructor.

In the app, tap More → Send feedback. Pick Something’s broken, An idea or Confusing and write a few lines. Phil, who runs Driving Instructor Assistant, reads every one and gets back to you.

Can’t sign in? Check you’re using the email address your school or instructor has for you, and look in your spam folder for the 6-digit code. Still stuck? Ask your instructor or school to check your email address, or email us at the address below.

To see a copy of your information, correct it or have it deleted, email privacy@drivinginstructorapps.co.uk, or ask your instructor or school. We reply within one month.

You can also delete your account in the app: More → Delete my account.

How we use your information is in the privacy notice. Instructors: see the terms.

In the app: tap More → Delete my account and confirm. Without the app: email privacy@drivinginstructorapps.co.uk from the email address you sign in with and say you want your account deleted.

Learners: your account is deleted straight away. That removes your name, contact details, sign-in, messages, progress, reflections, tests, lesson notes, voice notes and trophies.

Instructors, school owners and office staff: we confirm your request and delete your account within one month, after handing your school any diary and money records it has to keep.

What we keep: payment and credit records, which the law requires for accounts. They are kept for 6 years after the last lesson, under an anonymous “Erased pupil” with no name or contact details, then deleted.
